How can I edit or remove the "home" page?

    I permanently deleted the home page but it is still visible and displays a message that it can not find what I am looking for. I no longer want this page as is. Can it be completely deleted and if not can it be reinstated so that I can at least edit it and use it. Thanks happiness team, appreciate your help. Cheers Susan

    Hi there,

    It looks like your home page is set as your posts page. If you would like to edit the front page for your site, you will need to create a new page that you can then set as your homepage.

    To create a page, please go to your Dashboard > Pages > Add New and type in all of the content that you want to appear on your front page.

    After publishing this page, go to your Dashboard > Settings > Reading and click on “A static page” next to “Front page displays.

    From the drop-down menu next to “Front page,” you can then select the page that you just created.
