Hi there,
For your site to appear in Google’s search results, you’ll need to make sure your site’s Privacy Settings are set to “Allow search engines to index this site.” Otherwise, the search engine will not be able to see your site’s content and you’ll see that message about the site’s robots.txt file instead.
After you change your site’s privacy settings, it may take some time for Google to update its search results. You can read about Search Engines to learn more about that.
-
But it was allowed the problem was in google search engine in English language only.
And please if you know how to add description :) -
Hi,
Google will automatically pull the description shown in search results based on your content. However, you can changed the tagline here:
https://underearthman.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php
That should help to adjust how your site appears in search results. However, please note, it can take a few weeks for that to update.
-
Google put tagline next to blogs name not as a description under the name, will this be changed?
-
When I search for your site (underearthman.wordpress.com) in Google, this is what I see:
Is that what you see on your side? Since the text is in a different language, it’s a bit difficult to see where the tagline is appearing. Could you perhaps clarify? Is the tagline appearing in the block of text underneath the URL?
-
No, some lines from posts on home page, the tagline is ” It’s all about my Community ” And the search result appears like this ” Under Earth Man | It’s all about my COMMUNITY – WordPress.com” and some lines from my posts as a description.
I will change it later but i want to know how to make tagine as a description like some other blogs. -
Ah! Thanks for clarifying. I’m afraid that isn’t able to be changed. We don’t have control over how Google displays the information from your site so we are not able to move that piece of info. Google will automatically select information from your homepage to display alongside the search result.

The robots.txt is a file on your site that tells search engines whether or not they should crawl your site. You can only edit it using the settings here to allow/disallow search engines:
https://underearthman.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php
You cannot edit it to change the description for your site in Google.
