A different way to promote older posts
-
I’ve been looking for ways to promote older posts. Sure, WordPress suggests three related posts at the end of each of my posts, but is that enough?
I came up with is idea: http://readaninterview.com/read-finder/
Basically, I’ve set up a number of pages – 21 to be exact – linking them together to create a questionnaire that will lead to a specific post. The main page has a series of options based on what type of content the reader is looking for. Depending on their selection they will be taken to a second, more specific page with even more options.
Gradually their choices are narrowed down until they click an option that leads to a specific post that hopefully will be of interest to them.
I thought this would be a fun way to promote old posts. Thoughts.
Any other ideas on how to creatively promote old (but still relevant) content?
