A few apperance questions

First off, I love these forums. People here are absurdly knowledgeable and helpful. You all rock.

I have been building a personal portfolio/professional blog site for myself at http://gregmunno.com and think I have finally settled on the Fusion theme. My priorities are a clean, legible site that allows for Web 2.0 optimization.

But there are still a few things that are bugging me that I am hoping you folks might help me improve.

    1) My blog role and other links in the links widget: They are not appearing as links until you scroll over them. In fact, until you scroll over them, they are totally washed out looking and actually look more like dead links than anything else. Is there a way to change their appearance? This is actually the only potential deal killer for me with this theme. My other questions below are less pressing.

    2) Share tabs at end of posts: they don’t appear unless you click on the headline of the post, essentially popping up with the comment box. Is there a way for each post to display the share tags at the bottom on the homepage so that they are visible without opening up the post? (I do NOT want the comment box to appear unless clicked, just the share tabs.)

    3) I am tempted to try to richen up the default font colors a bit, so that the type in the post is black instead of gray and the light-blue links are just a bit darker and more saturated. Is this possible and, if so, how would I do it.

Thanks so much again and sorry for so many questions. Again, No. 1 is the main thing. I am also open to ideas in terms of other themes (even inexpensive purchased themes) if you all think I’d be better off with something other than fusion.

    1) You can change the color of those links if you remove the Links widget and add them manually in a text widget. You’ll need coding for lists, and coding for color; see here:

    2) Appearance > Sharing > “Show sharing buttons on”: select “Posts and index pages”, click Save Changes.

    3) See second link above.

1&3 can be changed once for all if you buy the CSS upgrade.

“Other themes” are restricted to the ones in Appearance > Themes.
