a few new reader posts then a jump to 12 day old posts, where are the rest?

Good Morning!
I went to my reader first thing this morning, as I tend to do, and I found oodles of new posts! And I kept reading and then bumped into things that I knew were from last week. I went back to the top thinking I was not awake and scrolled too quickly. The posts from yesterday and all of the way back to the 12 days ago label are MISSING from my reader. I am then also unsure how many of the posts made since yesterday are also missing.Using: Windows 7, Firefox 23.0.1
Going off to restart computer, I did all of the corrective type things at the end of last night with shutdown, so that’s not it this time!
