A Few Q's for Youse…
-
OK my first one is I seem to be having trouble mapping my domain from songofgaea.wordpress.com to songofgaea.com. Every time I try to see the beautiful blog I put up, it sends me to the construction zone. Wah!
Also, I want to set up paypal or clickit to get donations for my project – how?
And I would like to know the dif between in-text links and tags/categories or whatnot. I think the links are what I think they are: namely, links in the text to other sites’ info on those topics. But I tried it once to see what would happen and I didn’t notice anything obvious like highlighted text on the pages I posted.
Now as for tags I once had an opportunity to attribute tags to the stuff I wrote on the page (not actually “posts” but “pages” here) but I felt insecure about it and passed it up. Now I’d like to see those recommended tags – or categories – but I don’t know where they went now that my pages are published.
Both of these things – links and tags and categories too, would be helpful and I think I’m ready for the next level of blogging to take them on.
Thanks for dealing with the newbies like me and making this all so actually accessible. I have been terrified of web design for years and now I’m getting excited!
