  1. If I already have a domain, I will need to upgrade to a package but continue paying for it separately to go daddy?
  2. Should I pay for hosting or is it included in the package?

  If you already own a domain name and wish to link it to your WordPress site then follow this simple guide:

  Paying for a package depends on what you wish to do with your site. you can see the plans that WordPress offer here:

  https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  the Free version comes with everything you would need to create your site. You already own a domain name somewhere else so there is no need to pay for the upgrade unless you need the extra features offered.

  Just to clarify the domain name question. In order to Connect your domain name to your WordPress site you will have to upgrade to the Personal plan.

  But by paying the upgrade I deserve a domain name, and since I already own one then I pay twice. Is there a way to stop paying for a domain and do everything through WordPress?
