A few suggestions for the iPad app
-
When I get a new notification on my iPad app, it’s tough to find what the comment is about. Sometimes it takes days before someone replies to a comment, other times I have made multiple comments on a post, and there is no way to track the reply back to the pertinent comment.
Can you either:
– include the text of the post to which the person is replying
– or, provide a link to the general post, rather than to the blogger’s home page? With an active blogger (some create dozens of posts in a day), just linking to their home page is useless. A link to the thread itself would be far more useful. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The best place for WordPress iOS app support is here:
http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and make the developers aware of your issue. -
Actually, I was trying to make a suggestion to the WP people for an app upgrade. Unfortunately there is no way to contact them directly. The link to here implied that this is what I was doing. Once added here, there seems to be no way to delete it.

I’ll tag this thread for a Support Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Thanks. I’m already receiving the notices. It’s not a big hurry, more aggravating than anything.

Hi there,
The WordPress iOS app forum that timethief mentioned is actually the best way to contact the app developers directly. You can even post to the Requests and Feedback forum there to give them direct feedback like this.
But I’ve gone ahead and passed along your feedback about the iPad notifications. That’s on their radar for future updates and improvements. Thanks for sharing that feedback! :)
