A glitch of an icon in The Columnist

At the bottom of single-post pages (e.g., http://musicuratum.com/2013/03/31/a-status-report/), on the right-hand side, there’s something tall and narrow which looks like an icon of some kind; what could it be, and how to get rid of it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s a vertical scrollbar to the Likes section. It may or may not show up, depending on the browser and the viewing size. Try adding this:
.post-likes-widget { height: 5em; } -
Thank you, that removed it.
Since we’re dealing with the “likes,” do you happen to know the CSS handle of the “like” button and also of the line of text “x number of bloggers like this”?

You’re welcome.
I don’t really “know”, I find As I suggested in another thread, you’ll be able to answer such questions yourself if you learn to use Firebug.
There are mulitple selectors; which one you should use depends on what you want to change.
For the Like button, the selectors are
.sd-content wpl-likebox
and
a.sd-button
and
.wpl-button a.sd-button span
and
.wpl-button a.sd-button span:beforeFor the likes count, the selectors are
.wpl-count
and
.wpl-count span
or
.wpl-count-text -
