A gorgeous version of Twenty Eleven theme
-
HI theme team,
If you ever want to showcase a gorgeous version of twenty eleven, this is beautiful one:
[It’s not mine!]
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Very beautiful indeed… makes me want to switch to Twenty Eleven. On a down side, I hate autoplay music.
I have a theory that the Theme Showcase automatically picks the top three most visited blogs for each theme.
-
I liked it until the music started. But it’s visually very appealing and uses the different theme features very well.

Wow, this blog looks incredible! Thanks for posting… *___*
Hah, I was also slightly taken aback by the autoplay. |D;
If I was skilled enough, I’d love to have my blog styled EXACTLY like this. :P -

@saltine73: I think there is some custom CSS involved, but if you are asking about the showcase, that’s not CSS. I answered you on your other thread

I really like the theme, but I do kind of have a problem with how big the header is. I will admit, this layout does a fantastic job of tricking the viewer. I just wish that the header didn’t have the white portion on top and then the huge header image space under it.

EXCELLENT JOB! 2011 is an excellent theme. I use it myself. But this is one of the best I’ve seen.
-
I use the 2011 theme myself and my site looks drab compared to this. But I am really keen to know how much and what parts of it is customized. Can someone help out with this?

@bhavenjani A custom font with the Custom Design upgrade (a paid upgrade but you can preview before you buy) and a Custom Background (a standard option with Twenty Eleven) can go a long way to making your blog just right for you.
If you really feel like experimenting take a look at Custom CSS (part of the Custom Design upgrade). A few tiny changes can make a big difference. And you don’t have to be an expert to make the tiny changes.
(Those three customization features are the ones in play with the Kojiki in Japan blog.)
-
@theeshaper – I just came back from taking the Custom design upgrade and will try it out for the next 30 days. thanks for your advise

Inspired by this thread I’ve also started using Twenty Eleven now.. @timethief knows why I hate this theme.

This is a really beautiful site. I have a couple of questions:
I played around with the Showcase template, but I couldn’t get it to look like that. The sidebar started about half way down the page and the instead of list of blog posts with the number of comments ( or “leave a reply”), Instead I have the miniature version of a blog post (including title, date, category, etc).
How can I configure my showcase template so it displays like Kojiki in Japan?
thanks,
Andrew
