A H4 styled link disappears on hover.
-
“My website by Palmer Owen” link, in the footer of the site: https://mygoodmeasure.wordpress.com disappears on hover. Its styled with H4. It does go white on hover first as intended but then disappears! Any ideas how to alter that?
Also, on my iPhone, I’d also like it not have a massive gap between that and the site info. Is there any way to control that space?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All I see in your footer on mygoodmeasure.wordpress.com are the two standard footer links and I don’t see any CSS that adds the link to your footer.

Hi again,
The website by Palmer Owen is on every page apart from the Home page. I have resolved the the disappearing act thing but could still do with some advice on reducing the gap between that and the site info.
Cheers

Laura, instead of putting it in a text widget, what about putting it in with CSS instead using “content” like this?
.site-info:before { content: "Website by Palmer Owen"; display: block; padding-bottom: 20px; font-size: 120%; text-align: center; color: #9a9867; } .site-info { width: 100%; }The above let’s you have it on all pages.

Hi, I have implemented this and, yes, it does lessen the gap between the site info and my company endorsement. Trouble is, in desktop format, the ‘site by Palmer Owen’ isn’t aligned bottom with the site info and its not a link. Its also centred, which means its not left aligned on the iphone as I’d like it.
If you can resolve those things, I will love you forever!!

See my reply in https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/site-info-not-at-bottom-of-home-page-where-id-like-it-capoverso-theme as it applies here as well. To keep it linked, you will have to go back to the text widget solution and that is going to be problematic for positioning for the same reasons.
