A link to my site not showing in comments

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I’ve noticed that a link to my site doesn’t appear in comments anymore. What I’m saying is, when I go to a WordPress hosted blog and post my comment, my Gravatar shows but my name is black (it’s not linkable). I have no idea how to fix this.
Maybe there’s a confusion because I have a WordPress hosted blog (really just a name; not sure what I want to do with it), and I have my own WordPress powered blog hosted elsewhere. They both seems to be linked to the same email address. But I’d really like a link to my website blog to show when I comment on someone’s WordPress blog, and I have no idea how to fix it.
I used to simply go enter my Name, email and a link into the box on someone’s blog, but lately WordPress doesn’t let me do it; it demands I log in to my WordPress account because it’s associated with this email address. But when I log in and post a comment, my name is in black and it’s not linked to my website.
Any idea how to fix this?

True, my blog is not hosted with WordPress, though I have a WordPress hosted blog. But my question is about other people’s WordPress hosted blogs where a link to my website is not showing when I comment on their posts.

i think it’s a case more of bloggers not wanting commenters to link to their own blogs. but you can edit your gravatar so that it shows a link to your blog. while signed in, click on your gravatar >manage account>edit profile>my links. there you go, a workaround. i’ve done it to my gravatar as well.

WordPress.com’s “refinements” of the comment process have gotten many comments. Unfortunately, I don’t know there’s anything you can do here except voice your displeasure.
