A lot of my blog images are randomly too large

Hello, I recently checked my worpress page, and my images have randomly become a lot bigger than I set them. Is this a bug? When I click to see the height and width of the images, they still read the proper size that I set them, but the actual displays are much too large?
Is this fixable and if so, what is the easiest way? Thank you.

Fixed. For some random reason….a lot of my picture sizes were set to full instead of medium. No idea how this happened as I have not edited any of my blog posts in a while. But I was able to fix it so no worries at the moment.

Best to size them properly to fit your page using a free photo editor like IrfanView. For example, in Redoable Lite the text width is 640 pixels, so if I want a photo to go all the way across it, that’s what I’ll resize it to. Very easy. To wrap text around, just save it to, say, 400 pixels width and have it format to the left or right when you add to the post.

I have noticed the same problems on both of my blogs yesterday. Pics that were previously sized correctly, i.e. shown next to each other, are suddenly larger and show one below the other. I fixed it in some posts by going in, edit pic, just click update. But I’m not willing to do that in all posts that are suddenly screwed up, there are too many. Could this be a general WP problem?

I’m having the same problem. Not all of my posts have gone bad, but very many of them have. When I try to edit the posts to restore the images back to the proper size, I find that in the editor they’re already set to the proper size. It’s only when you view the page that they’re too large. I can’t see any way to fix this myself, but I’m glad it’s not just me who is having this problem.

Let’s try to keep everything at the forum thread linked to above. There are quite a few duplicate requests floating around, and the more time we spend fixing the same blog more than once, the longer it takes to get to newly reported blogs.
