A missing post on category page.
-
I have the Chronicle theme. My home page displays all my posts for “Viewpoints” (opinions) and “Excerpts” (from my novel). And when I click on any one of them on this home page, they all display successfully. I just noticed that when I click my Viewpoints category (right side of home page), when this takes me to my Viewpoints page one of them (the post: Business has No Flag) is missing. Solution, anyone? As usual, thanks for help.

In order for the post to be displayed on any dynamic category page or pages the post must have categories assigned to it. Did you forget to assign them?

Thanks timethief, that worked. I have to tell you–I should have remembered–this is the third time this has happened–that I categorized a post, saved and updated, and had the designation disappear. But then, each time, I noticed it right away and redid it. Go figure. Anyway, thanks again, and I’ll keep it in mind to recheck.

You’re welcome an good luck with this. Sometimes the things we want to remember most of all are the ones we keep forgetting. That’s what I use bookmarks-I have pages and pages of them.

Thanks. I guess when I’m no longer sure what to do with a knife and fork will be the time to worry. have a good one.

Mmm, let’s see. I’m currently intellectually & physically active, but each life has its limits, so if you were to click my boring ABOUT/BIO you would see I’ve been around the block a few times. When I was born Herbert Hoover was president, and president Harry Truman’s signature is on my military discharge paper. The paradox: my very long life seems so very short.
