A NEW blog added to my BLOG? HELP!

This morning I recieved a comment on my ABOOT page and it wasn’t flagged as spam, and I tought it was legit. I clicked the link of the comment and found a page in Italian and English and seems legit. Now, this afternoon I log on to WP and this blog is attached to my blog. When I click under my blog there are two there La Avventura and this NEW one (which seemed to orginate from the comment this morning.) I did leave a comment on this persons blog saying thanks for reading and commenting. But I can see their dashboard! So Im sure they can see mine! yikes.
What do I do?

I’ve checked USERS in the Dashboard and La Avventura is the only user there. I can’t find anywhere to delete this blog. How did this happen? I have all the permissions for this other blog, and I’m sure they do as well. Kinda freaky.

Change your password and make it more secure. If there is only one user then changing the password should make your blog secure again.
Contact the staff and ask them to help sort out the mixed ID they are the only ones that have access to fix the double blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

I think that ‘second’ unknown person has invited you to be the administrator/editor of his/her blog. There is no danger on your blog.

Ok. So I’ve just checked my emails and it seems that this ‘second’ blog has added me as a contributer to his blog. However, I don’t want this invitation. I don’t like when I click the grey-header bar for MY blog (La Avventura) I have TWO choices. I can also see every comment under La Avventura dashboard that this second blog has made and or given.

I’ve just sent him an email asking nicely to remove me as a contributer.
How is it possible that one can add you automatically? I wasn’t even given a choice or yes or no.

Any WP User can add you as a contributor. You should ignore these kind of activities and should concentrate on your primary blog. I’m glad that the problem is resolved.

Yes it’s very interesting. We can note that along with the ability of any user to subscribe to our blogs, and the inability we have to delete subscribers we do not want. -

I like don’t this system of being automatically added to someone’s blog. We should have the right to make that decision ours.

I think it’s a bug. I was on a famous blogger’s blog today and it showed her tool bar, which totally scared the !@#% out of me. I tried to contact her but have no idea what on earth to do. -

I’m assuming you don’t mean the gray navigation bar at the top of our blogs as wehen we are logged into wordpress.com we can see it on all wordpress.com blogs we visit. So can you explain what you mean by “it showed her tool bar” please? -
The navigation bar of her blog was showing up on her blog, but only on her blog. If I were a mean person I could have edited her post and everything. I hope she read my post on her fan page. I don’t like her politics at all or her worldview, but the thought of someone doing that to anyone upset me.

That’s a worry because a couple of days ago in my stats it showed that someone had clicked on my site name with /wp-admin at the end of the URL. I don’t want to add the URL here in case it does lead to my Dashboard. What has someone clicked on for it to show as /wp-admin. I have never seen that before in my clicks.

i just went on her site again and thankfully it’s not doing that anymore. Hopefully it won’t again. But I would still like your input. My personal opinion is someone hacked her. I started reading her bull during the Lara Logan attack and was horrified, but still pop in once in a while to see what nasty thing she wrote next. But as mean as what she writes is, it would be wrong to not warn her and I’d feel guilty for not doing something.

I would like to point out that i am not the person ocdbloggergirl is refering to, although i do think my Dashboard has been accessible to the public, so i too would like an answer about this.

I think the LOL is inappropriate as it’s not in the least bit funny and yes i have a strong password, so strong in fact that even typing it in from looking at it written down i sometimes get it wrong!!
