A new page with a different theme of blogposts

    Hi all!
I have this blog site since Sept 2016. My current theme of posts is, ‘Friends in my garden’.
Now I wanted to start a New theme blogs, and have it under new page title.
Managed to do that; however it was not appearing in the ‘Reader’ (of following bloggers) or no email notification was received by those, who have opted for it.
    So I deleted that page.
If I start blogging under a New page, why is it not getting any visibility as my currents posts, though I had set the visibility status as ‘Public’?
How should I start a new theme of blogs under a new page?

    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks and regards
    Indira

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello Indira
I got lost looking through your photographs – beautiful!

When you start a new page, your followers do not automatically become followers of your new page. They may not even know you have started a new one. One thing you could do is put a post in your current blog asking your followers to take a look at your new work!

You can also invite them via their readers or email by following the instructions here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/

Be careful when inviting them that you do not make them editors or administrators unless you want them to be.

    Hope this helped!

    Hello Dave,
    That sounds good!
Definitely I will try this and will let you know the outcome through this forum.
    Thank you,

    Hello Dave,

Tried it, but the page will not be a ‘blog’; if I have to post blogs, I have to do it under ‘Blog’ page only.
The new page will remain just a ‘page’ like ‘Home’ or ‘About’
Thinking of adding a new category to ‘Blog’ and adding a new theme there.

Anyway, thank you so much for the suggestion.
    Regards,
    Indira
