A new user I'm helping can't access Dashboard or Admin bar

I’m contacting you on behalf of the owner of a newly-created blog on WordPress.com, since can’t access the links to get to this page on your web site due to the problems he’s experiencing.. His username is calishooterone (http://calishooterone.wordpress.com).
His problem is that he cannot see the black/gray Admin Bar, and when he tries to view https://calishooterone.wordpress.com/wp-admin Safari, Chrome or Firefox for Mac (all are the latest versions), he gets redirected to http://wordpress.com/#!/my-blogs/56706830/posts.
We tried emptying the cache in both browers, signing out and signing back in, rebooting. Nothing allowed us to get to the Dashboard, or make the Admin bar appear.
For test purposes, I created a new blog and sure enough, I was able to reproduce the problems he experienced on a different Mac, on a different network, running Safari and Chrome. But on this machine, while running Firefox, I was able to see the Admin bar and get to the Dashboard.
Third-party cookies were enabled in all browsers, and the latest version of Adobe Flash Player is running as well.
I can’t think of anything else to try on our end to get this to work. Help!

Thanks for reaching out to us.
I will contact calishooterone directly via email with a link that should resolve his Dashboard issue, which is due to a test we’ve been running for new users. However, that issue should not have any impact on his ability to log into WordPress.com and post in the forums, so I will need to investigate that further.

He can login just fine. It’s just that once he does, he can’t see the Admin bar and he gets redirected away from the Dashboard. Without that access, as a new user, he had little hope of finding the links to get in touch with you.

Thanks. I’ve sent him an email and asked him to try posting here once he uses the link I’ve sent him. Hopefully that resolves the issue.

That is very interesting. The issues calishooterone might be having with the Dashboard would not be related to his ability to post on the support forums. I checked his account and tested things on my end, and there should be nothing blocking him from posting to the forums. The link I sent should also allow him to access his Dashboard.
Please ask him to reply to the email I sent him so that I can troubleshoot this further with him.
