A new website
-
Hello,
I am building a website as a resource for History majors. We have a variety of content that we wish to post, that needs to be put up in different ways. Do you know of a theme that will support multiple kinds of written posts? A straight blog will be too cluttered. What we want is multiple posting areas under one page as well as pages that are not posting areas.
Best,
Andrew. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey @ahoymades
Do you have an example of what you would like or were thinking it should look like? Even if its a site that is not a wordpress.com site – so we can get an idea of what you mean? :)

Of course, What I’m thinking of is like halfway beteween these two websites

Hey Andrew,
You can definitly have seperate pages (and different content on each) with your Blog posts showing on the homepage of your site, like you mentioned in the sample site you gave above.
From the links you sent and what you said previously:
“A straight blog will be too cluttered. What we want is multiple posting areas under one page as well as pages that are not posting areas.”
I’m not sure I totally understand what you are wanting. Can you elaborate on what you mean by “…What we want is multiple posting areas under one page as well as pages that are not posting areas.”
Perhaps explain it to me in a different way?
