A page says nothing found…..

    Hi Im trying to get the hang of how things work as i am kinda new and i tried to check the post on my about me page and it just says not found… so not sure what is wrong.

    I went on the pages tab and see that the about me page is there but when i click on it nothing shows up.

    but then under the about me on my live site I have a page called my bucket list but when i go on the dashboard it does show. so im confused of what is going on….

    Hello there!
    I think you just need to double-check your menu links.
    I just went to your site and when I found your About Me page in the menu, it lists the URL for it as: https://dreambigtravelmore.wordpress.com/category/about-me/

    I’m guessing that your main menu has been switched to show categories instead of links to main pages. Can you go to Appearance > Menus in Admin? If you have any custom menus there it will tell you what types of pages they’re pointing to. For example: http://snag.gy/QLIsb.jpg

    To add a link in the menu to a page or post, select one from the little drop down menu on the left and click Add to Menu.
    For example: http://snag.gy/r2Ic7.jpg

    To remove an existing page from the menu, click on the page listing you want to remove and it should drop down and you can click Remove.

    I just went to add the pages and there are no pages under the tab. What should I do now?

    hello i have managed to change it and i created a new about me page which is now showing. now the problem is when i want to post something how do i make it to go under a certain page? before with the categories it would go straight to the page i wanted but now its not going to the page i want….

    also how do i get a home button so it goes to the website page?

    Great! I’m glad you got the About page to work correctly in the menu.
    As far as posts go, they are designed to work like journal entries. The latest ones listed at the top and then they get bumped down the list as you add more posts.

    But, if you want to create more pages that have static content, you can do that also. Which were you thinking about?
