A password-protected article can't be seen in the reader.

When someone I follow posts a password-protected article , I can’t see the article in the reader . Only by clicking on the person ‘ s home page can I see the article and enter the password. But this is very inconvenient, because I don’t know when this person will post new article. Do you have any good ideas to solve this problem?

What’s the address of the site in question? In your notification settings, have you try checking the box to receive an email when a new post is published?

Thank you for replying me. I have received a new email , but the article is not displayed in the WordPress reader . I have to click on the blogger ‘s home page to see the article . It’s very inconvenient. -
Ah I see, that is actually expected as password-protected posts are in a way private. You can only access them if you know the password so you should receive an email when a new post is published if you’re subscribed to the site, but it will not be displayed in the Reader.
