A personal names not allowed for blog names?

    I checked to see if I could create another blog just on personal thoughts and tried to create just a personal name. It did not exist AND was reserved. I tried names of some friend for comparison, and all were like that. Are personal names not allowed?

    If the name is reserved it means someone already used that name for their username and the name is reserved encase they decided to create a blog with the username as part of their blog url [Example yourname.wordpress.com]

    You could try adding a double letter or numbers in placement of letters within the name as well adding numbers at the end of the name

    So maybe they are a .org user or just wanted a username to post a comment where login is required. Gotcha. Thanks.
