A Place to give away old blog names?

    Sometime ago I created a bunch of blog names on wordpress.com. When I decided on the two I wanted to keep, I was going to delete the rest until I saw the warning that WordPress.com does not recycle previously used names. Because of that, I did not delete any of the unused blog names I have. I heard there was a wordpress blog site or someplace were you could give old blog names to be reused. Does anyone know if it exists? Currently, I have the unused blog names on a separate WP account. Just to note, I have read the FAQs about transferring a blog to someone else and WordPress.com’s deletion policy.

    wordpress has a policy to never use deleted blog names. there is no such wordpress site for the recycling of usernames. your best alternative is to keep those unused blogs but put a notice there saying that if anyone is interested to have that username, to email you so you can give them the password and make it their own.

    Thanks for the response, sulz. I just finished setting up the unused blogs with a notice that they are available for transfer and how to contact me.
