A post (and a duplicate copy ) has disappeared from ‘all post’ in my dashboard

    I can only see the comments, the previous and next items are on duplicated lines.
    The post is titled
    Finding a new Fur Baby.

    The title of my post was
    Finding a New Fur Baby.
    I posted a duplicate post with the same title, and that has come up with the same thing. Both posts have ‘gone’ leaving only the comments visible. Neither are in my dashboard /posts listing

    However, copying the narrative and giving a new title of Looking for a New Dog, that has posted with no problems at all.

    Hi there,

    I am able to see the original post from my end. This is what I am seeing:

    I am using Chrome for my browser. Have you tried viewing the post from under a different browser? Are you having similar issues with any other posts?

    This is how it should be.
    However, all I can see be it when I’m signed into my blog or viewing without being signed in are the comments: 18 on the original and 6 on the duplicate….. no narrative. Both with this title are missing from my All Posts in dashboard, so I cannot access them to edit or amend the title. Changing it to Looking for a New Dog and posting a third item is fine.

    My browser is Firefox (as is my husband’s and he can read them with no problem at all)

    As far as I can see, no other posts are affected and I am wondering if something in the title is ‘offensive’ and being blocked. My readers are also having no problems with reading them. It is just me.

    Hello again,

    We have logged me in to my blog on another machine and the two posts are visible as I would expect. I have changed the title on the original to Finding another dog, but still have the same issue. with comments only being visible on my own laptop.

    I am therefore going to trash the original and the second Finding a New Fur Baby together with all their comments and put out a post of apology to my readers. The third and differently titled post has the original narrative and is OK.

    Thank you for your help. I do not understand why my laptop will not show me the posts concerned in my dashboard.
