A post was reposted – but not by me. Also a comment. Both sent to my e-mail.

My post, “Thank You, Thank You” mysteriously showed up on my e-mail on Saturday, July 6th, as being reposted. Today, one of the comments on that post also was resent to my e-mail. Her *2nd* comment is not listed when I look in the Comments section of my blog. Nor was the post resent. What gives? Help!

    Hi there!

I can’t see in your site’s comments any indication of someone reblogging one of your posts, but the notifications you received indicate that someone reblogged a post.

When a post is reblogged, it shows up with a link back to the blog it came from, the first image in the post, an excerpt of the post’s introduction (if it contains text), and thumbnails of any other images that the post contains. It also shows any comments left by the person who reblogged the post. Here’s more information on reblogging and how it works:

What that means is that someone liked your content enough to share it with their readers. By using the reblogging tool, you get full credit for the content and it will drive more readers to your blog to read the post.

I hope that clarifies things! Let me know if you have any questions.
