A privacy question regarding a suspended blog?

Hello, I own a personal blog here on WordPress.com and this morning I found that it has just been suspended. I am amusing that it was blocked due to violations to WordPress’ TOS (considering my blog is personal and I don’t have any advertising/marketing material on it). I will not elaborate what exactly my last blog entry (posted March 3) was about since I understand from other threads that discussing details about TOS violations are not allowed here.

My blog is personal and the privacy level shifts (depending on my mood) between “Private” and “Off Search Engines” (since I don’t want it to show up on Google considering the nature of its content, but I would like my friends to be able to read it when I want to share). I noticed that other suspended users were requested to provide a URL of their blog, I can not provide my blog username in a public forum because it’s personal. So I apologize for the lack of information I’m providing here.

What confuses me about it is that my blog has been 100% Private for the last 2-3 weeks (I can’t remember exactly how long) and it was private when it was suspended. This is really embarrassing but my question would be:

So all this time while my individual blog posts were password protected/completely private and when I made my entire blog private, WordPress staff were able to read its contents? Are staff generally allowed to do that (read someone’s private blog and flag them)?

Thank you. I am very concerned.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. Yes, staff can visit private blogs (see the “Note” section below):
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

We volunteers have no say about what is allowed and what isn’t in regards to the terms of service, so if you haven’t already done so, you need to get in touch with staff directly:

OMG. I did not notice the “note” part when I read that the first time! It doesn’t matter that they know details about my personal life since it’s anonymous anyway, but I guess if I had paid more attention and knew staff could read my private entries all along I wouldn’t have been so shocked/surprised when I found out I was suspended while in “private mode”.

My bad. Thank you so much for pointing that out to me, airodyssey. :)

Sorry, I just noticed I wrote “amusing” instead of “assuming” in the question. That was a typo… I also marked this as resolved. :)

Sometimes errors are made so you should still contact the staff to see what the reason was. Your blog can be reinstated depending on the reasons or if an error was made. I have seen several blogs that were reinstated.
