A problema in Post CSS Style?
-
A few time ago, i publish new posts with copy/paste from MSWord. For example, on this one http://makejetomosso.wordpress.com/2009/01/27/o-azar-da-maya-e-o-macrolane-nao-fazer-aumentar-o-qi/ i used letter “Trebuchet MS” and a pink background in a table. I format all the text in MSWord and make copy/paste to the publish box in WordPress.
But now, every time i make this, i loose all the formats, and the type of letter is replaced by another one standard. Any sugestion? Could it be a Template problem or the fact i use IE8?
Thank you allThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress recently made a change and now automatically strips out all code from text that is pasted from MS Word. Mtdewvirus (staff) explains why here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/paste-from-word-icon-is-not-working?replies=8#post-336510 .

If you are using Windows, you might want to consider downloading and installing the Windows Live Writer blog client software which works very much like Word, but creates web compliant code. It also has the advantages of saving copies of your work on your computer, and it also will publish your post directly for you with no need to copy and paste anything.

Sorry, should have added this also for any Mac people that might come to this thread.
If you are on Mac, the best two blog clients are not free, but they are reasonably priced. My preference is for Ecto which is almost as feature rich as WLW and costs about $20USD: http://illuminex.com/ecto/ . Ecto is also available for Windows. MarsEdit is also a good choice and has all the features of Ecto but is higher priced at $29.95USD: http://www.red-sweater.com/marsedit/ . MarsEdit is Mac only.

:( The alternative is to use the formating in WordPress Editor? But with that, how can i change the type of letter, for example, to ‘Trebuchet MS’?
I read your answer and you sugest the use of Windows Live Writer? Is a good way to solve this problem? -

The wordpress editor does not have that ability directly. What you would have to do is to do the following for each paragraph and this would have to be done in the HTML tab of the editor:
<span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;">TEXT_HERE</span>If you have familiarity with HTML, this might not be a problem for you, however even with my familiarity with HTML and CSS, I still find it a time-consuming pain which is why I use an blog client for the bulk of my writing.
Do realize that if you specify a font that your visitors do not happen to have installed on their computer they will be at the mercy of the substitution routines built into whatever browser they are using and will end up with a generic font instead (serif or san-serif).
