A question about the Blog Stats
-
Hello all,
I was wondering about the blog stats and what it reflects. In the Top Posts and Pages section, why doesn’t it ever show just the home page, just xxxxx.com?
Also, when it shows a post as being popular, is it assuming that someone has actually clicked on the title link for that post? So if a post is showing as not too popular, someone may have actually read it just by being on the home page?
Also, under referrers, it never shows google.com or any other search engines. It just shows other sites and email. Is it assumed that the rest of the traffic is from search engines?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks timethief. It was more of a general question, but here it is:
-
The home page is not counted in the Top Posts and Pages, but it is reflected in the total number of hits.
-
Technically, the home page is not a page (or a post) but a multi-post page or a loop, circulating your most recent posts. The only time the home page will show up in the top posts and pages is when a static page is the home page.

/nod to husdal.
The main blog page actually does not exist until a browser calls for it (click a book mark or link, or type the main blog URL into the address bar). The main page is created on demand.
