A Question about the Title Font size
-
so I ended up kind of starting over on my layout, an was wondering if there was a way to change the Font/Font size of the Title of the Blog.
i looked under the Typography under Appearance, but Title is not listed there – and when i go into the edit area of the title and Navigation, font isn’t a choice option that I can find.
and I have to say – I have never done anything with CSS before, but if that is the only way, i will have to learn
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there @thebiggrayhouse,
Thanks for reaching out, and I totally get wanting your blog’s title to look just right—it makes a big difference!
If you’re looking to update your site title specifically, here’s how you can do it:
- Go to Appearance > Editor.
- Select Templates (like your homepage or the “All Pages” template).
- Click on the header area and select the Site Title block.
- In the right-hand sidebar (Block settings), scroll to Typography—there, you can adjust the font size (you can use preset sizes or type in a custom size using
px,em, etc.).
Check this guide for reference: Site Title Block Settings
If you’re editing general headings (like those used in your posts), go to Styles > Typography > Headings to customize their look globally.
Guide: Style your siteAnd no worries if you’re new to CSS—these changes can be made without writing any code!

that worked perfectly ty.
follow-up question – prior to adding the image to the main page, now when I create a new page, it places the entire header from the front page onto them – and I do not want that. is there any way to make it not carry the main page image/header text to every page thereafter?

Hi @thebiggrayhouse
Great follow-up question. It sounds like your homepage header is being reused on other pages because they’re using the same template and header layout.
If you’d like to use a different header or footer for specific pages, this guide explains how to set that up:

I will look at the 1st link – I started playing around with creating a custom template page, and kind of learning by trial and error LOL – that is usually a good way for me.
appreciate the replies – you guys are awesome
