A question about using tags in a different way

Hi, please excuse me for my ignorance if the answer is obvious. I’m not out to get simply spoon-fed answers, but rather I think at this point I’m trying to get some help phrasing the question properly. Either way, any help (even spoon-fed help, ha) is greatly appreciated.

I have a dream record using WordPress (linked to my username), and I envision that I would like to be able to do a search for specific tags, or click on a specific tag, and get a list of every entry that has that tag attached to it. Where would I start learning how to do something like that? Or is this possible?

    Thanks a lot!

Take a look at the newest theme: Modularity lite!

“Category/archive pages aren’t limited to the number of posts per page you set in Appearance > Reading.”
    and
    “Excerpts supported in category/archive pages.”
    from

You would have to switch themes, and change your tags to categories, but your custom excerpts could be just titles or a summary you write about each post.
