A question about zshare
-
Hi everyone,
I saw a previous question relating to placing an audio link on a blog via zshare. I wanted to ask a question about zshare.
Whenever i open a zshare file, instead of the track buffering and then playing it just shows as connecting then it says ready but it wont play. It is also goes back to that page when trying to download. This is not just the same with any zshare files i have seen links to but also with files that i have made myself and uploaded. Hope someone can shed some light on this for me.Thanks

Hi – can you provide us with a link to your blog or a post including one of these files so that we can check it out? Thanks :)

Hi Hanni even I have the same problem, I think it’s the problem with Windows media player as zshare uses wimdows media player, I tried uninstalling my media player but can’t due to Administrative rights. If u find a different solution then plz let me know as well.
Many Thanks,
Keyur.

From the FAQs:
* Can I hotlink the stuff I upload?
No. Being an Ad-Financed website, hotlinking is not allowed on any kind of files uploaded to our servers.

The problem must be with my computer as i am now using another computer and can play my file on the zshare site. I have run a virus check and used spybot and adaware but still have problems when trying to listen to any music file on zshare.
I could put a link here to the zshare file but is that hotlinking? I am not sure exactly what hotlinking is.
Hope someone can help me with my problem.Tcee45

Hotlinking is when you link directly to or embed a zshare file in another web page. zshare doesn’t get to show ads when you do that so they prevent it from working.

I have to say im still unclear. If one cant use a link for others to listen to the file, why bother uploading it in the first place.
However i have found out this problem is not unique to me. After searching on a well known site i have come across a number of people all over the UK who are having the same problem as myself. Nobody has solved the problem for the other people either. So in London i cant listen to any zshare file yet on a different computer at a diferent location i can.
