A question of webcomic themes

  In addition to my regular blog I have decided to finally bite the bullet and start one of the webcomics I’ve had in the planning stages for the last 3 years. Now I could go with one of the free comic hosting crowds, but I would prefer to use a known quantity, with a proven track record. So wordpress.com. But questions arise, the most pressing of which is which theme is best suited to posting webcomics? The only real requirements I have is that it have a sidebar so I can add the few widgets that I like.

  In your dashboard
  Appearance—>Themes—>and preview the more than 100 themes available.

  Most themes have sidebars, and there are many widgets available here on wp.com.

  Lots of the newer themes are very easily customized with headers, background colors or images… the choices are wide open.
