I am trying to renew my annual subscription for my website captedboatdoc.com. I have received a notice to renew and have gone to wordpress and gone to Manage Purchases page. The only thing I get is an upgrade window. What do I need to do to renew my page?

There’s something odd about your domain mapping. When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you.

The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of the captedboatdoc.com domain mapping upgrade..
So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to renew the upgrade.

Thanks for the note. I have tried accessing Manage Purchases from both accounts but no luck. In fact, Manage Purchases does not even appear as an option on one site.
This is all strange because I have renewed twice before with no problem.

No email yet. Did the address you used include joanne? She is the person who set this up about four years ago.

Keep in mind that it will NOT be sent to the address associated with the account you are posting from. But to the email associated with the account that owns the upgrade.

Ok. Should be the same. I am heading out of town right now and shutting down the computer. Thanks again for your kindness. It is strange I can access the option to upgrade for $99 but cannot access the option to renew at $26, even though the renewal email I got said that I could just renew at $26.

It went to the (email visible only to moderators and staff) address. Have you checked spam and social folders?

The email was sent to the user who is listed as the owner of the domain registration. You should be able to see that person listed here:

I am currently in conversation with that person to try and get this straightened out.
