  I am completely new to WordPress. I had someone build my website and do not know anything about WordPress. I need to transfer my domain which is on Weebly. They are asking for my A record. I have no clue where to find this on WordPress. Is there anyway that a representative can give this to me? I have been looking this up and can not find anything. Faith Hamilton

  My website is advhelp.org I can’t get it running until I transfer my domain, which is from Weebly to WordPress. Spoke to a rep at Weebly and they said I need the A record from WordPress. I have been going back and forth. I am beside myself.

  If you want to transfer a domain, you won’t need an A Record, you can take care of that following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  Also, when you start a site here, we’ll give you a free subdomain to build the site under. You won’t need to add your custom domain until you’re ready for it.
