    I can’t connect my domain from GoDaddy to worldpress. I contacted go daddy and they said that I just need the A Record so that they can add it on there and it should be good. can you please provide this.

    Hi there,

    I’m afraid GoDaddy gave you inaccurate information. Adding an A record for WordPress.com to your domain will not have the domain display your site, but instead will just cause it to go to a generic WordPress.com error page.

    To use a domain you own somewhere else here on WordPress.com, you need our domain connection upgrade included in the Pro plan. To point the domain to us, we recommend you change the name servers to ours, but if you need to use an A record instead, you’ll see a page containing the correct A record for your site once you’ve finished adding the domain connection upgrade:
