  What are the current A Records.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey @materialtime,

  When you map your domain with an A record, that is not a constant value, they change over time, and when that happens your site will break.

  Why don’t you use WordPress.com name servers,

  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  I am adding modlook tag for staff intervention to provide your IP address.

  Hi @materialtime, we strongly recommend using our name servers so that we can manage your A records for you.

  But, you can find your A records on your own by typing this at a command prompt:

  nslookup acustomdomain.com ns1.wordpress.com

  Sub out for your own domain, of course. This way you can always find our A records for your domain on your own, even if they change.

  Noting this will only work for domains that are currently mapped here. If you have not added the domain yet, map it first, then wait a few hours and try that command.
