A referring site called PaperRater.com

What do you know about a site called PaperRater.com? I saw them listed as a referrer on my stats page only to discover that they have listed my most recent post under a ‘possible plagiarism check’ on their site! They have no legitimate contact number to dispute this (unless you want to sign up for their service!). I think it is despicable as my piece had nothing whatsoever in common with the article they accused me of ‘possibly plagiarizing’! Is this a scam of some kind?

Sorry, I don’t share your ‘opinion’. If they really ‘loved’ feedback there would be a more transparent/ legitimate way to contact them, one that doesn’t involve signing up for a ‘free trial’ first. SCAM.

No, not your problem. Thanks. I was merely looking for information about a frustrating situation. You gave me your opinion. I will respectfully disagree with you about the company’s integrity, however. Those kinds of methods don’t do a business any favors, in my opinion…nor do I appreciate my post and site appearing anywhere near the word “plagiarism”. Who would? Somebody finally got that message because they took it down.
