A second WordPress account?

Hi, I already have a WordPress account however people who helped me on my account messed it up bad… So I was thinking about starting over again with a second account and start over again… Is that posable?

You can easily start another free site using the same account. If you must use another account you will need a different email address to associate with it.

I’m not sure if I want to find another email address, I might have to for all I know. The original account doesn’t work as it should… If I use the same email address, will it be connected to the old account with the same problems as before?

Hi there, You can’t use the same email address on a second, concurrent WordPress.com account. Your email address is your unique identifier here.
As @themagicrobot said, you can create a second site on this same account or create an entirely new account using a different email address. However, you won’t be able to use your existing username or reuse your current site address on a new account.

It might be more sensible to solve the issues you are facing rather than lose your current site address and have to come up with a different address. I can’t see why an account “wouldn’t work” anyway. Perhaps you mean your SITE isn’t how you want it. Everything can be fixed I’m sure, if you provided details of what exactly you thought was wrong. (and starting another site via your existing account is a work of moments too).

I’m not sure if it can be fixed… A while ago I had a librarian with thick glasses try to update the account, she hit all buttons then hit enter… Never worked the same after that… later I had an “expert” try to fix what she did he said he spent the whole night trying to fix her mess and he said it was hopeless… I think the only way is to start over again… Give me some time to figure what to do…

I thank you all for helping me and giving me advice. I need all the help I can get… I am open to new ideas…The problem is I’m not good at computers, often I pull the hair out of my head trying to figure what to do…

Accounts here at WordPress.com don’t break. They are just the way you access WordPress.com and the sites you have created. All other people can see of your account is https://wordpress.com/forums/users/cartoonsbyfrank/topics/
You can start again with a new site at this account (which is easier than setting up a new account) if you wish by clicking on the W on the left of your dashboard then “sites” then “add new site” top right. Experiment there with this new “test” site using the same theme for a while and you might find the solution to whatever you feel is wrong with your current site???
