A simple question from somebody who is not so tech savvy
-
Hi! So I’m asking how to do something that I know is easy but I just can’t figure it out. I want to be able to put links in the middle of my paragraphs. That simple highlighted word that you click on that takes you to another sight. But I have no idea how to do it. When I use the link feature, yes it links. But then the entire rest of the paragraph and post is also part of that link and it looks all wonky. I just need to know what to do to close the link so the rest of the paragraph looks rights. Does that makes sense?

When you’re writing your post, highlight the word you want to be the one that links to the new page. Above the frame where you’re writing is the work “link”, click on that. A little box will come up that has a small frame inside of it. Insert the web address of the page you are linking to inside that box. Click Okay and you’re done.
You should experiment with all the little things above the frame where you write. “B” makes for bold text. “I” makes for italics. B-Quote gives you a block to put text from another source in.
Look at this post on my page – I use block quotes, links and bold to make the page more readable.
