A simple way to copy all my posts to another blog?

  I have my blog since 2006. It’s in french for the moment, and i’d like to make an english version of it. But as all my posts have a lot of pictures, videos, link, etc., i find it quite annoying having to do it all manually again… I thought maybe if i just copy the whole content of my blog to the new one, and then just translate the ones that i’m interressed in (and delete the ones i don’t need, really) would be easier. Any suggestion?

  In the first blog, go to Manage > Export. Save the file
  In the secong blog do Manage > Import for that file.

  Does that sound okay?

  just to mention: i do not have the intention to delete my french blog. ^^
