A Spam “Like”

  Hi!

  I received a notification that I had received a “Like” on one of my posts. When I clicked this notification I was redirected my wordpress.com’s own login page.

  Seems strange, possibly an attempt to steal my account or otherwise hack my account?

  I’ve changed my password, logged out and in again, but I’m a bit worried.

  Is there a way to block the user, and is my WordPress.com account safe?

  They can always try to ‘hack’ your site, but as long you have a strong password in combination with 2FA – https://wordpress.com/support/security/two-step-authentication/ – you are safe.
