A static page in the top menu (when clicked) shows the most recent post?
-
Hi,
One of my pages (Dog Reflections) when clicked becomes my most recent post page (Devon Rex Cat Reflection). However, when I ‘edit’ the page, the correct page, i.e., Dog Reflections appears in the edit window. I have then ‘Updated’ the page but still the most recent post appears instead…Hope that you can help… I don’t understand if I’ve changed something to make this happen…!
Thanks in advance

Howdy,
Could you make sure you have the correct page selected as the posts page under Settings -> Reading?
Check out this guide for details on using the posts page:

Thank you chrisrudzki,
I ‘had’ changed the settings in Settings -> Reading….
Under ‘Front Page Displays’ – I had selected a ‘Static Page’
however, I also (recently) selected a Posts Page as well =X
I have now selected only a ‘Static Page’ leaving the Posts Page blank and all is well once again. Many thanks,
