A Strange Occurance with my Blog

  Hello – A few days ago I asked a question as to why my stats are showing clicks on my posts from July 2014 every single day. I didn’t receive an answer.

  Today, I had another perplexing situation occur on my blog. I noticed a referrers website to my blog that I’d never seen before. I clicked on it, and low and behold, my entire blog came up on that website. The link is below. When I try it sometimes by itself, it does not work. But, when I click on it from my stats page, it takes me to their page with my blog on it.

  Can someone please help me with both of these issues? The stats from July 2014 and this odd website with my blog on it?

  This is still happening on my blog from this strange website that shows my personal blog there. Can anyone from WordPress check on this for us?

  I’m also still getting hits on the same posts every day from July and my pets pages.

  It would be much appreciated to have this addressed.

  Hi there,
  Site http://www.standaswitnesses.com/ looks like some kind of a social sharing site that embeds your site into their webpage. It looks like some kind of cheap marketing site to trick people into clicking links using our content. I don’t think there is anything to worry about it at this time. Most often these cheap sites won’t survive long and will get hot listed.

  There is nothing to worry regarding the security of your site. Nice folks at WordPress.com are always on it. :)

  Hello – Thanks simplysaru, for giving an explanation. I’m not comfortable with this happening. I sure hope that there is no security risk. I wonder how these sites get hot listed. I would think wordpress would want to hot list them for using content that doesn’t belong to them.

  Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to respond to this.

  On WordPress.com there is no security risk from spam traffic, it’s just a nuisance.
