A streaming page and your recommendation
-
I´m thinking to develop a webpage that will be like a theater to stream shows and functions on live (only 1 live stream at time, not simultaneously for now). I´m gonna use the wpstream plugin and I don´t know what’s the bandwidth limit for each plan. The reason to ask for this is because I don’t want to get a service fall or page crash for a connectivity reason and the estimated viewers per stream would be about 15 or 20.

You can do so without using a plugin throught Youtube, https://wordpress.com/support/videos/youtube/#stream-a-live-broadcast-with-you-tube

Hi there,
There are no bandwidth limitations for sites hosted on WordPress.com. This is true from free sites, right up to our eCommerce plan.
As @staartmees indicated above, it’s already possible to embed livestreams on a free WordPress.com site. Besides Youtube, you can also embed a live stream from Twitch and from Facebook:

If you prefer to use a different streaming service, with a streaming plugin, that would require our Business or eCommerce plan.

Thanks for answer guys, but about twitch or youtube embed streaming, the problem is to secure the access to only could view this live streaming on my wordpress webpage and not from the streaming page like twitch or youtube, because the access should depend of the payment for the “ticket” of the show or function.

Hi @ventanaculturalpe, you could use a premium content block:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/premium-content-block/And then embed an unpublished streaming link on Youtube. That wouldn’t stop people from sharing the link once they had it, but it might help, and you could hide the stream after you’re finished with the live broadcast.
Or, you could get a Business Plan and use a video plugin of your choice to manage your streams.
