A virus and/or hacker has entered my home page on my wordpress account

    Would/could someone at word press be able to find out how to remove the virus on my home page rockinrblog or web page. When I log in, it states ‘Warning….contact this 888 number’ which I am positive are the people that created this problem rockinrjewelry.wordpress.com. If there is a charge, I would pay for this service

    Hi there, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. These forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com.

    I would contact your web host, https://www.website-welcome.com/ and see if they can scan and remove any virus or malware from your site. It could be they can restore your site to a previous time before the infection.

    For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking general questions in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate, so if you do not already have an account at WordPress.org, you will need to register.
