a virus in wordpress??

  A few minutes ago occured a strange thing in the account of a friend…
  the screen went white and black and the screen
  said
  Follow the white rabbit….

  do you guys know sth about it???

  Have your friend go to users > personal settings in their dashboard and right at the top, do they have the selection labeled, “Fun __ Surprise me. (Fun mode.)” selected? If so, it is probably due to this. When selected it does random “funny” things in your dashboard.

  The likelihood of wordpress ever catching a virus, or even a cold for that matter is nearly zero. They are extremely security conscious around here given the have 18,000,000 blogs to care for.

  “Follow the white rabbit” shows up (after various other parts of the joke) when you try to compare a post revision against itself.

  Yes, we wanted to compare two revisions of one post, than one click to fast and the white rabbit!!
  I thought it is the funny mode….was a bit scary too…
