A vote for Digg This links

Been messing with Digg.com links and would like to see them here. I don’t think that it would put too much strain on the servers.
Thanks

You make me smile betterresearch. In fact you give me pause to wonder if you will find/create the time to blog today with soooo very many questions, requests, etc. on your mind.:)
You did come here to blog for free and blogging is all about having the freedom to have a good time while pursuing your passion, right? :)
Those who blog for other reasons also have options they can pursue like blogging on their own server or paying for webhosting, right? :)

why only digg?
Didn’t say only digg. That was the one I was working with at the time. I have a “Digg this” link on my blog and I’ve been finding that it’s been pulling in traffic to my site. :)

Best bet would be to send in a Feedback from your Dashboard. The support forums are pretty much volenteer driven now a days.

I know this is still in the works, but how much server space would go into using Alex King’s Share This plugin? I am not sure if this is something that Alex would want, but is pretty much covers the gammit of social blogging including the ability to email the entry. Just a thought anyways.

Here are the links to see Alex King’s “Share This” http://alexking.org/projects/share-icon
You can see it on his blog too http://alexking.org/blog -
If you put “Social Bookmarking” into the search box you’ll see Digg and other social bookmarking sites have been suggested many times before. Sunburntkamel came up with a way to add the links to each of your posts; you just have to type in the URL and the title for each service you want to use. I use plain text links from a Word template and generally get a half-dozen or more Diggs a day.
But I would like it to be an automatic part of the posting process: Digg, Fark, Stumble, delicious(…….. there’s your periods, put them anywhere you like) are the main ones that I’ve seen hits from.

@ trent
I posted the links that you had already posted because my vision was so bad tonight that I didn’t notice the words Alex King’s Share This were linked … DUH! {crawling under a rock }@joshua
Could you please look for Digg on the net. I can’t see well enough tonight to retrieve the link for you … sorry :( -
Thanks, but I already did and registered, Timethief :) I should’ve just done that instead of asking.

I’m lazy: I just wait for other people to Digg my stuff. Of course, I’ve never had more than piddling success with that…I really need to put in SBK’s pretty little image links. They’re much more inviting than seven or eight lines of text under every post.

If something like this is to make it into wp.com (and for me there are more important things), then AK’s Share This would work as well as anything I’ve seen. I’d be against “Digg this” given that Digg isn’t the only game in this town.

Digg is probably the one with the most buzz right now, so getting a link to that built into our blogs now means potentially doing very, very well as most of the web catches on later. sbk has done a nice array of 11 links to different sites including StumbleUpon, Tailrank, Digg, and Fark (oh, how I wish to be Farked!). It’s here:
