A way to make my pdf link look cooler?
-
Hi folks,
I use my blog as a portfolio space for my work as an advertising copywriter.
Usually my print work is in jpg format but right, on my home page I have to link to some work as a pdf.
My question is, is there way to make my pdf link stand out and look cool? You know the way there is an audio player thingie for recordings that essentially just gives them a better visual presence. Is there something for pdfs or could I somehow replace the link as it looks now with some kind of logo or visual thingie.
All ideas welcome!!
Thankyou,
Anne Marie

hi.
what i do with those links to make them stand out is increase the font size.
you could go into the HTML tab of the post editor and add:<span style=”font-size: 130%;”> all the code for your pdf link here </span>other ideas:
<strong> </strong> for bold and <em></em> for italicsjope that helps

Or you can change the color of the link along with its size.
Or you can create a suitable image and make that image link to the PDF.
Or you can upload your PFD to Scribd or Issuu and embedd it in your blog instead of linking to it.
More details when you decide what you’d prefer.
