A way to make top tabs links to other sites?

    Most template designs allow for pages to be linked to via tabs at the top or listed as page links using a widget. Is there a way on WordPress.com to make any of the tabs be an arbirary link? Fr example, if I wanted to put another blog on WordPress.com and cross-link the 2 blogs using any one of the tabs, is that possible? Or am I stuck only being able to link to other sites from within the sidebars or posts?

    The tabs only work with Pages on your site and are created automatically when you write new parent pages.
