A website powered by wordpress is selling illegal copies of academic papers

  Hi WordPress,

  I would like to inform you that the following website powered by wordpress is selling illegal copies of academic papers, including the stolen copies of my MBA thesis.

  https://e-bookdatabases.com/book/the-case-of-hong-kong

  The publications with blue copies are stolen copies. Open Dissertation Press had downloaded those theses from the website of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) Library and then uploaded it to various on-line bookstores for sale. A total of more than 30,000 copies of master and PhD theses had been stolen and this is a large scale copyright infringement. For more information please check out my website powered by wordpress:

  Thks for the information. So how come e-bookdatabases.com carries the name “wordpress”? It happens by coincidence? Pls advise.

  That site is using the open source WordPress software to manage their site, but they are not hosted here on WordPressdotcom. “WordPress” comes in 2 flavors. This support guide explains some of the differences between them: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Regardless, you need to direct your DMCA take down order with their web hosting provider, mentioned above.
