A WordAds questions

I’ve just been accepted to run WordAds on my blog (exciting), but I have a couple of questions:
Is there any way of changing the look of the ad text? My blog theme is all red/grey/black and the ugly bright blue and green large text don’t look in keeping with the site at all – they look v spammy. Also the ads seem to be displayed within an iframe and so I can’t think of a css way of changing them. Any suggestions would be gratefully received!
My other question is about WordAds and Google Adwords – I thought the 2 things were competely different, which is what appealed to me about WordAds, but now I have them they seem to be run by Google Adwords. They look identical and all links seem to divert through googleadservices.com. Was I wrong about them being competing systems?
